BLS Instructor Renewal Course – For Current Instructors Only

This course is designed for those seeking AHA BLS Instructor Renewals. Requirements for Instructor renewal include attending and completing the renewal course, successfully passing the BLS skills portion ofr adult and infant, and passing the written exam with a score of 84% or higher.

Instructors seeking renewal must have taught a total of 4 courses over the period of 2 years. 

 

The fee for the course is $100 for NON HUMC employees. 

Current HUMC employees are not charged for the renewal course.

NON HUMC employees please bring a check for $100 made out to Hackensack University Medical Center

If you are unable to attend your scheduled course, notify either Timothy Youngsworth at Timothy.Youngsworth@hmhn.org or Melissa Sprague at Melissa.Sprague@hmhn.org to cancel your seat or you will be marked as a no-show.

If your BLS / ACLS / PALS certification is expired, you may not sit for a renewal course and must complete a HeartCode assignment first.
